Collection thesis
Charizard is the most culturally recognisable character in the trading-card hobby, and the reference point new collectors and outside capital both start from.
The proposed collection targets cards that mark distinct eras of the Pokémon TCG rather than accumulating repeat inventory of a single print run.
Selection is weighted towards grade scarcity, census depth and long-run transaction history rather than short-term price momentum.
Why these assets?
- Era coverage: Base Set, Neo, e-Card, EX and modern chase cards.
- Condition discipline: examples are shortlisted against population reports before any offer is made.
- Provenance: acquisition candidates require a documented ownership and certification trail.
- Liquidity awareness: at least part of the collection targets cards with observable, repeated public sales.
