Custody
Security & storage
How cards would be authenticated, stored, insured and handled under the proposed operating model.
Authentication
Cards would be acquired already certified by a recognised third-party grader, or submitted for grading before being recorded as a collection asset. Certification numbers would be published against each asset.
Storage
The proposed model uses insured, climate-controlled third-party vault storage with restricted access and documented inventory checks. Cards would not be held at residential addresses.
Insurance
Specialist collectibles insurance would be intended to cover loss, theft and damage in storage and in transit, at agreed values reviewed periodically.
Handling and movement
- Movement only for grading, exhibition, valuation or sale.
- Tracked, insured specialist transit.
- Chain-of-custody recorded against each asset.
Platform security
Accounts are protected by authenticated sessions and row-level database access controls, so account data and watchlists are only readable by their owner.
These arrangements are proposed. No custodian, insurer or grading partner has been appointed, and all arrangements remain subject to final legal and regulatory structure.
