Risk
Risk information
Collectibles are not a safe store of value. Please read these risks carefully.
Value can fall
Collectible values are driven by sentiment, taste and scarcity. They can fall sharply and without warning, and there is no floor under any card's value.
Liquidity
There is no guaranteed market for a card at any given time. Selling can take an extended period and may require accepting a materially lower price than an indicative valuation.
Valuation
Every valuation shown on this platform is an estimate based on observed public transactions. It is not an appraisal, an offer, or evidence that a sale at that level is achievable.
Condition, grading and authenticity
- Physical condition can deteriorate, including inside a sealed holder.
- Grading is subjective; re-grading may produce a different outcome.
- Counterfeit and altered cards exist. Authentication reduces but does not eliminate this risk.
Concentration
Thematic collections deliberately concentrate exposure to a small number of cards, one character or era, and a narrow buyer pool. Concentration increases volatility.
Custody, insurance and loss
Loss, theft and damage risks exist and depend on custody and insurance arrangements being in place and adequate. No such arrangements are currently in force.
Currency and international markets
Cards trade internationally. Exchange-rate movements affect comparable pricing and any eventual sale proceeds.
Regulatory structure
The future legal and regulatory structure of TCG Syndicates is not finalised and may change materially. Any future offering would depend on it, and may not proceed at all.
No investment is currently being offered or accepted through this platform. Any indication of interest is non-binding.
